For many youth basketball athletes, playing at the collegiate level is a dream; a dream that requires daily grind and determination to overcome constant challenges and tests. The pursuit of getting better is different for everyone, but there's still only one possible mindset—The Only Way Is Through. It's an understanding that to reach the goal of playing at the next level, athletes must stay the path to come out on the other side faster, stronger, and better.

Under Armour's grassroots basketball season kicks off in April, offering girls and boys the opportunity to not only improve, but also showcase skills and talents en route to their dreams of playing in college.

Under Armour Basketball has released the list of participating teams in the 2020 Under Armour Association (UAA) Girls and Boys circuits, as well as a schedule of tournaments. The grassroots platform includes Girls UAA, UAA Boys and UA Future, featuring high-level competition among the best youth basketball players in the country at the 17U to 10U levels.

Girls Under Armour Association (GUAA)

The Girls UA Association (GUAA) will provide elite girls travel teams with the same league-style circuit as the boys UAA teams, returning in April with 30 teams at the 17U and 16U level. The teams will participate in 10 regular season games, five final games, and three total league sessions with the Girls UAA Finals taking place in Las Vegas.

UA FUTURE

UA Future also returns in 2020, replicating the UAA model for travel teams at the middle school level, and offering a regional league format for teams in the 14U-10U age groups, leading to the UA Future National Championship on June 26-28 at Kansas City in Missouri. This league sets the new standard for grassroots circuits at this age group by modeling the format of the UAA and becoming the foundation of our youth basketball platform. UA Future will seek to advance the development of young players, teams, and coaches to set the course of grassroots basketball for the near future.
